What we are

Stranger Than History is a free, searchable directory of strange but true stories from history: bizarre deaths, weird disasters, famous hoaxes and odd science. Every story is original, fact-checked and sourced. It is made by Jeremy V in Sooke, British Columbia, alongside the Stranger Than History YouTube Shorts channel and the @JeremyV32115306 account on X.

Who reads it

Curious people who like history, true stories, science and trivia: the kind of reader who loses an evening in a museum or a documentary.
